Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited the largest state-owned military industrial plant in Bulgaria – the Vazovski Mashinostroitelni Zavodi (VMZ) EAD. The Prime Minister presented to von der Leyen the existing production. During the talk Mr. Jeliazkov specifically stressed the potential of the plant to be upgraded and develop new productions in the context of Bulgaria’s contribution to pan-European security and defense.
A meeting is currently being held in the plant of Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov, the Minister of Economy and Industry Peter Dilov and the Chair of the largest parliamentary group of GERB-UDF Boyko Bosisov.
