Prime Minister Galab Donev received in his office Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is on an official visit to Bulgaria. Prime Minister Donev congratulated Minister Konaković on the EU candidate country status conferred to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Prime Minister wished success in the country’s European integration process and assured that, as heretofore, Bulgaria would continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future.
Prime Minister Galab Donev noted that the current visit to Sofia of Minister Elmedin Konaković is a positive sign of the desire of both Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue to promote and deepen cooperation and dialog in all sectors of mutual interest. The Prime Minister specifically emphasized the deeper economic ties and the benefits of the promotion of economic interaction and contacts between the two countries’ business communities. The Prime Minister also singled out tourism, agriculture, public works and energy as promising sectors where it would be appropriate to look for opportunities for interaction and joint venture.
Prime Minister Galab Donev underscored the importance and role of cooperation within the existing regional and international formats and initiatives for the achievement of long-term security, stability and prosperity in South East Europe.
